My mom read the book Marley & Me and absolutely loved it... heh, she even made sure to recommend to everyone in our family that we read it too! IN case you haven't heard yet, there's actually a movie coming out on Christmas Day with the same name starring Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson. So, yeah, you can bet on who will be going to see that one! ;)

Little Fact: My mom, Lula (yeah, she's originally from Alabama), especially has a place in her heart for dogs because she has a very special friend, Kanook, who is a female American Eskimo dog she inherited from my older brother years ago when Kanook was still pretty young (my brother got Kanook as a puppy when he lived in Canada, hence the name!). Aw, my mom and "Nookie" have been best friends ever since! ♡
